Diddy has just added another artist to his Bad Boy roster after signing his son Christian to a recording contract.

Puff broke the news yesterday (April 1) via his Instagram page. In the video, Christian is seen sitting next to Epic Records exec L.A Reid signing a paper while his proud father looks on. The caption reads, "NEW DEAL ALERT!!! Everyone wish my son @KingCombs a happy birthday & CONGRATS on signing that record deal!! #BADBOY #EPIC." The signing coincided with Christian's birthday. The Bad Boy heir turned 18 yesterday.

This might seem to be coming out of nowhere but Christian appeared on The Breakfast Club a while back alongside Diddy and expressed his desire to be a rapper (below). Then again, this could be an April Fool's joke. But musical aspirations definitely run in the family. Christian is Comb's second son to try his hand in the entertainment industry. His brother Quincy has also dabbled in the rap game spitting under the moniker International Quincy before transitioning more into acting.

While Puff is helping plan out his son's future is he also planning what should be an epic Bad Boy reunion show on May 20 at the Barclay's Center in NYC. Dubbed “One Night Only,” the concert will bring the old gang back together, including feature performances by Faith Evans, Ma$e, LOX, Total, 112, Mario Winans, French Montana and Lil Kim with special guests Jay Z and Mary J. Blige.

“This isn’t just another concert—this is hip-hop history,” Puffy says in a press release for the event. “The Bad Boy Family includes some of the biggest names in music and songs that helped define a whole generation of music. Also, we are celebrating one of the greatest of all time—Notorious B.I.G. This will be a night to remember. I can’t wait to see you all there.”

Maybe Christian will open up the show.
