A new Chinx album is on the way. Entertainment One Music has announced that the second posthumous album from the Chinx will be released in June. The album, titled Legends Never Die, is scheduled to drop on June 3.

The promotional campaign for the new LP is already under way with the release of the new single "For the Love" featuring Meet Sims. Chinx's first posthumous album Welcome to JFK, which also served as his debut, was released last August. The project featured French Montana, Lil Durk, Nipsey Hussle, Ty Dolla Sign, Jeremih and the late Stack Bundles.

Chinx's legacy lives on through his music, but his murder unfortunately remains unsolved. Almost a year after the Coke Boys rapper was shot and killed in Queens, nothing has been resolved in the case. Chinx was murdered on the night of May 17 in the Briarwood section of Queens. The rapper had performed earlier that night and was in the process of dropping off Coke Boys affiliate Yemen when over 10 shots were fired at his vehicle. Chinx was killed in the shooting while Yemen was wounded.

This past November, Fox 5 in New York aired a report that expressed concerns the case would remain unsolved. The report by Lisa Evers, who hosts Hot 97's Street Soldiers show, detailed some of the new complications in the investigation. The report revealed that the aforementioned Yemen, who was originally cooperative, was no longer helping the police in their investigation.
