Chance The Rapper and Jay Electronica Are Collaborating on New Music

It appears Chance The Rapper and Jay Electronica have something cooking in the form of some sort of musical collab.

Jay broke the newS yesterday (April 23) on Twitter. "Peace To Chance The Rapper. We about to surprise attack y'all. well i guess it aint a surprise no more. But its still an attack! lol," he posted.

The "Exhibit C" rapper followed that up with a Tweet letting Chance know to keep whatever they are working on under wraps and not to let any other rappers get involved. "@chancetherapper no matter who calls or writes or asks... don't push the button because of the pressure. let's tweak it to perfection," he added.

Chance retweeted the last tweet along with the addition "SAY THAT."

With little details to go on, we can only speculate. Could this be on Chance's long awaited third mixtape he's been teasing for what seems like years now? Or maybe, and this is the biggest maybe of them all, it is for Jay Electronica's mythical album that has been almost a decade in the making. Either way is appears we have a fire collab on the way from the two sought after MCs.

After only popping up a few times a year in the past, Elect seems to be expanding his visibility recently wrapping a five-city tour last week that saw him take his show to a handful of cities mostly on the West Coast. Will we finally get his album in 2016? Nah!
