Bow Wow and Yung Berg are trading shots on social media.

The situation started when Bow Wow, who recently got back with his child’s mother, Joie Chavis, posted about the reunion on his Instagram page. Responding to a commentor who suggested the reunion was solely for his daughter, the rapper posted, “Naw this because I love her. And my daughter. No man bout to be around my daughter so I gotta tighten up.”

Out of the blue, Yung Berg followed that up with the comment and jab, “Hope it inspires sum music.”

The jab about Bow’s music is one thing, but Berg and Joie also have a history adding insult to injury. Needless to say, Bow, born Shad Moss, was pissed, firing back, “Stop playing with us little boy. You saw what happened in Vegas when we hopped out on you. Trick I guess he aint learn from Detroit,” he posted referring to the time Berg’s chain was snatched in the D. “Maino slapped the life out you, now watch when the fruitz get you.”

The two entertainers have a history. They had a beef almost 10 years ago because Berg felt slighted after not getting a returned feature request from Shad. Berg addressed the nearly decade-old situation back then saying, “Bow got a lot of money. I want that same run. I want to get to that same paper. It’s not hating, it’s not beef. I’m just trying to get to the money.”

Now they bring a new issue into 2016.
