Young Thug just premiered his new "Digits" single from Slime Season 3 on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show.

The song has been long-awaited, as snippets of the track have been floating around for a long time now. London on da Track did the beat, and it sounds like the sonic twin to "Check," the lead single from Barter 6.

Slime Season 3 is probably dropping at some point tonight (March 25), though there are some conflicting reports. Young Thug posted an Instagram picture saying "SS3 tomorrow" and while premiering the song on his Beats 1 Radio show, Zane Lowe emphatically said the project was dropping "tomorrow." Meanwhile, Lyor says it's dropping tonight. Chance are it's hitting the iTunes store at 11 PM EST.

With SS3 out of the way, Thug's official debut album HiTunes is the next project in the public's crosshairs. Lyor Cohen and the 300 Ent. team have already started preparing the album rollout, complete with a U.S. tour that starts in May. Thug officially announced the tour with a strange video of the MC riding a horse in Atlanta. You can see it below.

Thug's coming off a somewhat rocky start to the year. He dropped I'm Up in February even though he had planned to originally drop 'SS3.' Unfortunately it went head-to-head with Future's EVOL on February 6, and while Future sold an impressive 100,000 pure albums. Thug only moved about 14,600 copies.

Nonetheless, Thug's ceiling is high. He has yet to replicate the major success of Rich Gang's "Lifestyle" single, but "Best Friends" is quickly becoming one of his biggest songs. He's only one hit away from large scale stardom.

Is "Digits" the one? Listen above and let us know.
