Update:

XXL was sent clear footage of Tory Lanez telling the crowd to "fuck this place up" and give security "something to work for" at the Midland, Texas venue this past weekend. Watch the footage above. Tory makes the statements starting at around the :50 mark.

Original Story:

The over-pouring of adrenaline at any given rap show can create for a scary scene, and at a recent Tory Lanez performance in Midland, Texas, things seemingly got out of hand to an extreme degree. According to TMZ, Tory was sharing the bill with K Camp when at one point he allegedly said to the audience, "Let's fuck this place up!"

While the above video doesn't capture the events or comments preceding what appears to be a fan melee, someone can be heard saying, "they fighting." For Tory's part, he is most interested in shepherding fans to safety and back toward the stage, saying, "Don’t get hit, don’t get hurt" and "They done, you good, come back." Security makes a clear attempt to discourage Lanez from proceeding with the show, but he ignores their effort and engages fans in a rendition of "Diego" instead.

Lanez, who released two mixtapes at the tail end of last year, typically inspires a raucous crowd, and was captured performing at South by Southwest earlier this month while standing atop fan's hands. Earlier in the year, Lanez, who has been known to climb within the venue he's performing, jumped from a balcony after sitting perched on it. With the above footage coming out of Texas now, a Tory Lanez show may be entering the conversation of must-see rap performances from a spectator's perspective alone.
