This year's Soundset Festival lineup is stacked.

With the announcement of each new festival lineup comes visions of warmer weather, good vibes and great mashups of music. The Rhymesayers add this summer excitement today (Feb. 29) as they unveil the lineup for Soundset Festival 2016 and plainly put, it looks sick. Covering all bases of hip-hop, the one-day fest in Minneapolis will be headlined by Minnesota duo Atmosphere as well as Future, Common, A$AP Rocky and The Roots. Former XXL Freshmen Machine Gun Kelly, Raury and GoldLink will also be taking the stage.

Soundset started back in 2008 by Rhymesayers Entertainments as a platform for underground rappers and crews in the Minneapolis area to showcase their stuff. Since then, the midwest gathering has hosted big names like Snoop Dogg, Macklemore, Kendrick Lamar, Nas and more. XXL spoke with Rhymesayers back in December for the label's 20th anniversary where the founders discussed the perks of keeping their festival affordable.

"For these many groups, it’s very nicely priced — in comparison to festivals that are a $100, $150, $200. And if you get on the early bird, where we have our list of our fans that we give perks, you can get a ticket for under $40.” said Rhymesayers' J-Bird.

As the Twin Cities' largest outdoor festival, Soundset celebrates its ninth year with a bigger and better location, moving from Cantebury Park to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Tickets for the 2016 show go on sale this Friday (Mar. 4). If you're in Minnesota this spring, Soundset 2016 will take place Sunday, May 29. Peep the full lineup below.
