The legendary and iconic Snoop Dogg will be inducted into WWE's Hall Of Fame this weekend before Wrestlemania 32. The news of Snoop's induction was reported earlier today via WWE's app as the Doggfather becomes the latest celebrity to join the prestigious class.

The LBC rapper will become the first hip-hop act to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. Snoop will join the 2016 class along with iconic names such as -Sting, The Godfather, Big Boss Man, The Fabulous Freebirds, Jacqueline, Stan Hansen and Joan Lunden. This year's ceremony will be held at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on April 2, 2016.

Snoop's involvement with the WWE dates back as far as 2009 when he served as the Master of Ceremonies for the Lumberjill match WrestleMania 24. The Doggfather has also appeared on WWE's flagship show, Monday Night Raw with the likes of Chavo Guerrero, Curtis Axel and Hulk Hogan in several hilarious segments.

Snoop Dogg will be honored by the WWE this Saturday, April 2, for his past work with the wrestling promotion. WWE's Super Bowl, better known as Wrestlemania, will take place this Sunday night at 8PM EST. in Dallas Texas.
