Snoop Dogg is a certified west coast legend, and if he follows through on an off-hand comment made to TMZ recently, he will only further solidify that status with a foray into restauranteering. A cameraman for the celebrity-chasing site caught up with Warren G and Snoop outside Lure Nightclub Tuesday night (March 29) and asked the two their thoughts on the news that the parent company of Los Angeles staple Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles had filed for bankruptcy.

Upon hearing the news, Snoop is at first dismissive, but eventually says he would step in to save the restaurant if need be. "No they didn’t," he says. "I guess I’m gonna have to buy it, man, and make it Snoop Dogg’s Chicken and Waffles. They play too much." Warren G meanwhile remains optimistic saying first that he didn't know of the news but that "it’ll get worked out."

Snoop's ever-expanding celebrity profile made two noteworthy strides this week, as it was announced that the rapper will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame prior to this weekend's Wrestlemania 32 in Arlington, Texas. Snoop is being recognized for his many promotional efforts for the wrestling brand, which date back as far as 2009. Additionally, following a petition requesting such a series, Snoop has launched Planet Snoop, a riff on Planet Earth of the rapper narrating various nature videos.

If diversity in this new day is key, then Snoop is certainly lending his hand to a wide array of pursuits, with the above entrepreneurial streak only adding to that notion.
