The wait is over—well, almost. It’s been five long years since Grime MC Skepta dropped his last album Doin' It Again in 2011. Fans have desperately been waiting for his next album and according to the British rhymer, it’s just two days from being complete.

“I'm finishing my album Konichiwa this week. Finished! Done! Three years of my life encapsulated on a CD,” he said in an interview with i-D, which was published on Wednesday (March 16).  He then took took to Instagram to announce the great news. He shared a photo of artist Mr. 616 drawing out the tracklist and album cover.

Although the album has been in the works for years, fans have had to settle for non-album singles like the smash hit “Shutdown” and “That’s Not Me.” Both were dope tracks, but clearly a lot has went down since Doin’ It Again and his supporters are eager to know what Skepta has up his sleeves.

While he’s been stashed away fine tuning the album—ironically the title translates into a Japanese greeting—he’s been killing it on the fashion end, working with Japanese fashion house UNIQLO. The Boy Better Know representer actually started wearing the brand after flying to New York at the request of Travi$ Scott. He and his crew were looking for outfits and he stumbled into a store. “I got two outfits. I threw them both on the bed to decide which one to go for. Cause it was gonna be dark I went for a full white tracksuit and along blue mac and I looked sick,” he told i-D. “I looked very sick. That made it so right.”

Now that he’s officially a fashion don, Skepta is ready to focus on his new music. Last March he hit the stage at Wireless Festival. Although he hasn't announced when Konichiwa will officially be released, now that it's done fans can be on the look for the first single pretty soon.
