Update:

Offset has been released, per the below video he posted after the news broke:

Original Story:

Offset can't catch a break. The Migos member was arrested today (March 17) for driving with a suspended license. The arrest was captured on video as Offset can be seen removing his jewelry before getting handcuffed by an officer.

TMZ reports that Offset was pulled over outside of a sushi restaurant and when police ran his name in the system, the suspended license appeared. Drew Finding, Offset's lawyer, told TMZ that the rapper thought he already paid a $316 fine for the suspended license and failure to appear in court when he got out of jail this past December.

According to his lawyer, Offset cannot be bailed until Friday (March 18) morning. So the Migos member will be back in jail for at least one night.

This has to be a frustrating situation for Offset, who has only been back in the free world for less than four months. The rapper was in prison for eight months last year after he and his fellow Migos members were arrested in April 2015.

Quavo, Takeoff and Offset were arrested before a scheduled performance at Georgia Southern University when police discovered guns and drugs in their vehicle. All three were charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession, felony possession of a schedule II narcotic and carrying a loaded gun on school property. Offset received an additional charge of gun possession by a convicted felon. Quavo and Takeoff were released on bond, but Offset was denied.

Offset would remain in jail on those charges for the next eight months as he would be denied bond three times before his release in December. Now, the Atlanta native finds himself in trouble once again.
