There are many celebrities who will do a good deed when they know the world is watching. With that said, it is always special when someone famous goes out of their way to make someone's day when the bright lights are not shining on them. Lil Wayne may have thought his good deed this weekend went unnoticed, but a Facebook post that's gone viral has brought it to the limelight.

A Facebook user named Amanda Cooper Lickliter shared a photo of Lil Wayne with a member of the military. She then explained the great lengths to which the New Orleans rapper went in order to show his appreciation for the troops.

"So Lil Wayne came through [Indianapolis] today," Lickliter wrote. "At the same time he was due to depart, there was a military C130 arriving. It parked next to the Gulfstream he was on, and about 30 men in uniform crossed the ramp into the lobby. After they walked in front of the G-550, Lil Wayne apparently told his pilots he wanted off. They shut down their engines, and he and his boys got off their plane, came into the lobby, and shook every one of the service men's hands. There was no press and no one to show off for...just a seemingly genuine act of respect. I know a lot of controversy surrounds him but, today, I was impressed."

Lil Wayne showed his character by going out of his way to display his support for the troops.
