Killer Mike has been focused on his work with Run The Jewels, so listeners have not heard many solo tracks from the Atlanta rapper in recent years. DJ Scream changes that by digging in the vaults and finding a previously unreleased record titled "Saks Fifth."

As the beginning of the track reveals, this song must have been recorded around 2009-2010 since Killer Mike is using the Mike Bigga moniker and proudly representing the Grind Time Rap Gang. The Run The Jewels member briefly changed his name to Mike Bigga back in 2009 in an effort to sound less aggressive.

"I wanted to do it for a a long time," Killer Mike said at the time. “I read all the comments on AllHipHop and all the other sites. And I love how smart the hip-hop fans are and they say ‘Man, this guy is dope. Why he so slept on.’ Then, it always be a comment under there that be like ‘I don’t suppose the name Killer Mike be holding him back? You can’t get corporate sponsorship with that."

"Saks Fifth" sees Killer Mike doing a little bragging and boasting about his spending habits while rapping over a sample of Willie Hutch's "I Choose You." After kicking an entertaining verse, Mike simply talks to the listener for well over a minute.

This previously unreleased song from Killer Mike is just one of the exclusives DJ Scream has compiled for the Legends mixtape, which is available now. Tracks from the likes of 2 Chainz, CyHi The Prynce Gucci Mane and Migos are also featured on the project.
