Kanye West's new album The Life of Pablo has only been available through streaming on Tidal, but that's finally changed as the LP is now available for download. The catch is that you must be one of the people who originally purchased The Life of Pablo on its release day before it was taken down for sale or got a download code as part of the Yeezy Season 3 show at Madison Square Garden.

"The latest version of The Life of Pablo is now being delivered to the individuals that purchased it originally, as well as to those who in some cases did not receive a download link at the time of the album's release," a Tidal spokesman told Pitchfork. "Customers that received a refund will also receive a download link as a courtesy from Tidal.com."

While it's not a massive change, this seems to be another sign that Kanye West might be freeing the limits of The Life of Pablo being a Tidal streaming exclusive. The Chicago rapper has already released "Famous" as a single, meaning the song can now be streamed on services like Spotify and Apple Music.

Despite the Tidal exclusivity of The Life of Pablo frustrating many consumers, the decision clearly helped the streaming service. As reported last month, the release helped Tidal double its subscriptions. Tidal also released the streaming numbers for the album, which racked up 250 million plays in the 10 days after its release. Considering that Kanye West has an ownership stake in the company, it seems to have been a successful decision for the "Ultralight Beam" rapper.
