The Joey Bada$$ and Troy Ave beef continues to play out with both rappers taking shots at one another again on social media last night (March 5).

First it was Joey, who addresses the ongoing issue on Instagram. Posting a picture of himself on stage, he captioned the flick, "This is me headlining at okeechobee festival in front of approx 25,000 fans... Yes that's right I have shows and the capacity are more than 4x your album sales... What diss record??? Oh from that 30 y/o reject who hit the lil homie below the belt?? FUCK OUTTA HERE. I'm getting what u making ya whole career just off collabs cocksucka beat it."

Feeling like he had struck a nerve with the Pro Era frontman, Ave took to his own Instagram account to post a video of Hot 97 playing his recent diss record "Bad Ass," which he predicted would happen on the song. "Rock out 'they gon play this hit on the radio dawg, and u gon be like damn why they playing this for' I DEAL IN FACTS, I DO WHAT I SAY .... #WeJusMakeBetterMusic I'm tryna burn up the charts they tryna burn up in hell," he captioned the vid, again taking a dig at late Pro Era rapper Capital STEEZ. He also put up a since deleted post where he again takes shots at STEEZ's death among other disses.

This issue seemed like it would come and go at first, but has since lingered on. It started when Joey name-dropped Ave on the song "Ready," pointing out the elder rapper's low album sales. Troy responded with the full-on diss track "Bad Ass," in which he called out STEEZ for committing suicide. He later apologized to Styles P, who called him to task for the low blow. The LOX member didn't take the barb as a joke, seeing as his own daughter sadly took her own life in 2015.

But the issues have continued. Joey added another round when he brought up old tweets of Troy dissing Nas and questioned his sanity. Now this.

Hopefully this can be wrapped up in a manner that does not include anyone getting hurt.
