A week after cancelling a South by Southwest performance, Jay Electronica has announced a five-date mini-tour that kicks off March 30 in San Francisco, CA. The Roc Nation rapper will stay out West for the tour, as he will do three shows in California, one in Washington and one in Chicago.

On April 2, 2016 Electronica will take part in a J Dilla tribute show at The Neptune Theater in Seattle, WA. He will appear alongside Black Milk, Slum Village, Guilty Simpson and more. Tickets for the event are available now. In February, JE performed at the J Dilla Weekend celebration in Miami.

Electronica’s antics have left fans confused and frustrated. Blessed with otherworldly talent on the microphone, the rapper has seemingly no interest in dropping his long-awaited album at any point. Despite the eccentric behavior and lack of music, the MC has not been shy about proclaiming his greatness. During a recent Periscope session, JE took shots at Kendrick Lamar. “Look, I like the one Kendrick song with Gunplay, ‘Cartoons & Cereal,’ but other than that we don’t know what nigga talking about,” Electronica said. “Kendrick is my son, Kendrick is my baby, Kendrick wishes he could be me.”
