Iggy Azalea has jumped headfirst into the promotional campaign for her new album Digital Distortion. Just a few days after dropping the lead single "Team," the Australian rapper appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night (March 22) to perform the track.

The performance saw Iggy Azalea start out all alone on the stage as she delivered her raps from the single. Less than two minutes in, backup dancers joined in to liven up visuals for the viewing audience.

The appearance on The Tonight Show was the latest move in Iggy Azalea's comeback after a rough 2015. The "Fancy" rapper recently revealed that she suffered a psychotic breakdown around the time of her tour cancellation.

"I had to have a psychotic breakdown last year," Azalea told Schon magazine. "I felt tired and stressed out."

The situation got more troubling as Iggy Azalea explained how she even contemplated suicide at times in another interview.

"I don’t know, there were times when I wanted to just quit life," Iggy said. “Sometimes I would drive through the canyons to get to my horses and I would be like what if I just kept driving."

That revelation caught the eye of rival Azealia Banks, who wished ill of Iggy Azalea in an Instagram post earlier this week.

"YAAS slavemaster, drive that slave truck right off the canyon," Azealia Banks wrote.

Iggy Azalea seems to be in a better place now, though harsh comments like Banks' don't exactly help.
