Considering the amount of news since, you'd be forgiven if you forgot Kanye West turned his Saturday Night Live performance into an album release event. It's been a few weeks since the late night sketch show aired a new episode (the Feb. 13 ep with Kanye was in fact the most recent), but it will once again be demonstrating its hip-hop relevancy when Future takes the stage this Saturday (March 5) in what will be the penultimate episode for the show's 41st season.

In new promo clips for the episode, Future is alongside host Jonah Hill and cast member Leslie Jones not saying much, but making his presence felt throughout. In the first of the three clips, all included in the above video, Jones says, "Man, I can’t believe my favorite rapper’s gonna be on the show," before Hill mistakenly assumes she's referring to his high school rap group. Later on, Future lends Hill some sartorial advice, encouraging him to wear his hood up, and then offers a premonition for how the show will go, summing up the outcome with a single word: "Sensational."

Future is likely to perform at least two tracks off his February release EVOL, and good money says "In Her Mouth" won't be one of them. With Future and The Weeknd spotted recording the video for "Low Life" recently, perhaps a duet can be expected. The Weeknd actually touched the SNL stage earlier this season, performing "Can't Feel My Face" and "The Hills" with Nicki Minaj on an October 10th episode.
