As predicted by the Twitterverse, Fabolous couldn't help but comment on the Kyrie Irving, Kehlani and PartyNextDoor situation on wax. The rapper posted a video of himself in the studio as a Metro Boomin-produced track plays in the background.

"Cameraman tryna TMZ me/Sidepiece tryna PND me," raps F-A-B in the track before the camera fades to black.

Ever since PartyNextDoor posted a picture of Kehlani's hand on his Instagram and rumors swirled that the singer and Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving had split up, Twitter users were predicting that Fabolous would waste no time rapping about the subject. "Just waiting on Fab to rap about Kehlani and Kyrie and have some corny ass punchline, too," tweeted user @Dylanlssing2.

"$20 say Fab wrote his Kyrie/Kehlani punchline last night," added @MAWhereDaCashAt.

The prediction quickly became true and now we're left waiting for the full track to drop.

The Brooklyn native wasn't the only one to rap about the tabloid-like news surrounding current NBA point guards. Philly rapper and punchline enthusiast Cassidy turned on the iPhone and rapped a few bars about the D'Angelo Russell/Nick Young/Iggy Azalea saga.

“I was tryin to get paid and made plans to go hustle/My team was lost and jealous and started telling like D’Angelo Russell/They hate when you Swaggy, but they love it when you down and out/Nothing lasts forever, even Kobe’s knees founded out,” rapped the Philly native.

With Fab and Cassidy dropping timely punchlines and making headlines, it's like it's 2002 all over again.
