Fans got excited when Fabolous made an Instagram post hinting at a collaboration project with Jadakiss called Freddy vs. Jason. Now, Fabolous has confirmed that the mixtape is a reality. The New York rhymer was interviewed by Wild 94.1's Bootleg Kev and spoke about how the collaboration with Jadakiss came to be.

"Oh yeah man, me and Jada... he just came to my party out at CIAA in Charlotte and we was talking about doing a couple things and one was to do a mixtape," Fabolous said. "I wanna do a mixtape, but we’re gonna go through iTunes too."

With a little help from Bootleg Kev, Fabolous made sure to agree that the project would be on Tidal too as he is part of Jay Z's Roc Nation imprint.

Fabolous and Jadakiss have collaborated many times over their respective careers, so a full length project together seems like a natural move for two veterans in the game. The two have previously worked together on tracks like "The Hope," "B.E.T." and "Respect" in addition to features on other artists' records like Jeezy's "OJ." The New York rappers have even crossed paths on a variety of remixes over the years, appearing on everything from The Game's "One Blood" to Maino's "Hi Hater."

Check out the full interview with Fabolous above as he discusses the much publicized Troy Ave and Joey Badass beef. Fab also takes a look back at some notable projects from his 15 years in the music business.
