Back on Feb. 4, Earl Sweatshirt made his debut as DJ Earl Fletcher. The Odd Future rapper performed his first set as a DJ at Trash Talk's skate shop Babylon LA in Los Angeles. Thanks to Boiler Room and GoPro, the entire world can watch and listen to his debut set.

Earl Sweatshirt's inaugural set is spliced with footage of skaters doing their thing at the outside bowl while Earl runs through some tracks inside. The newly anointed DJ Fletcher played everything from reggae to some Cash Money classics by Lil Wayne and Juvenile. If you want to download the entire set, you can grab the audio over at the Boiler Room's official site.

While the Los Angeles rhymer is spreading his wings so to speak, he still has fans captivated by his moves in the realm of rap. In January, Earl Sweatshirt surprised his followers on Twitter by releasing three new tracks.

"Let’s get reacquainted.” Earl wrote on Twitter, quoting Kanye West's "Barry Bonds" about his new material. “I can’t even explain it, I surprised myself too."

Outside of his talent on the mic, Earl Sweatshirt has also proven himself to be thoughtful about current issues. The MC was interviewed by journalist Ferrari Sheppard and spoke about the impact the Black Lives Matter movement is making.

"Black Lives Matter has already demonstrated that it has the power to shift the societal landscape by bringing awareness to age old issues that have plagued us as a people,” Earl said during the conversation. “I’m fully behind it.”
