Though she's soft-spoken and small in stature, DeJ Loaf is not one to be messed with.

Directed by Jay Production, Lil Loaf's new "Desire" video finds her looking content and surrounded by beautiful foliage as she recites her raps about lazy haters trying to get in her way with her signature "soft-but-tough" style.

"I say, 'Who want it with me?'/Pull up with Benz, got them drummers with me/Ready for war like, who coming with me?/Got goons who feel like what's the point in living," she spits.

Premiering the visual with Complex, DeJ said in a statement that "Desire" is "a song I whipped up in the studio in such short time. A song where I had a lot on my mind/chest and wanted to get it off. Sat in the studio with IzzeTheProducer as he played beats.. and picked this one to be cued up. And went in to express myself. 'I can't hold back, I live life, go and get everything that I desire.'"

"Desire" is the latest single off DeJ's EP, #AndSeeThatsTheThing, which she dropped last summer. Other singles on the EP include "Hey There" featuring Future and "Back Up" featuring fellow Detroit spitter Big Sean. Coming off a stellar 2015 of touring with Nicki Minaj, collabing with Lil Wayne and dating Lil Durk, DeJ is looking to double down on her success in the new year. The former XXL Freshman will be taking the stage this summer at the 2016 Essence Festival with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Jidenna, Jeremih, Little Simz and more.
