Just in time for March Madness, Cozz comes through with his video for "Halftime Show." Dreamville's West Coast representative, who recently dropped his Nothin Personal project, goes hard in the booth and sticks to the no-frills approach as he blows blunts and spits his raps over Durag Meez's production. The South Central, L.A. native does laps around the competition with his new loosie and doesn't need a catchy hook to get on.

XXL spoke with the Cali MC for “The Break” section and he told us that he hopes to inspire people the same way 2Pac did in his short life. “I’m gonna be the next ‘Pac or some shit. I feel like ‘Pac was so, like, he could make you feel some type of way, but at the same time, he can still make a point,” he said. “From the West Coast. He had a lot to say. Smart. I feel like I could do that. I could inspire a lot of people. I grew up in the hood as well, but I am smart enough to know that there’s more than the hood.”

We also saw Cozz tear it down at SOB's back in February. Cole was in the crowd but chose to lurk in the shadows instead of getting onstage. It's indicative of how Cole has been letting his Dreamville artists move - on their own, out form under the North Carolina MC's wing.

Cozz's Nothin Personal features 13 new tracks and verses from Boogie and Bas, plus production from Durag Meez. Stream the mixtape below via LiveMixtapes.
