Consequence had been through some ups and downs with Kanye West, but things seem to be all good now. With that in mind, the Queens rapper appeared on the Breakfast Club and was asked about Kanye's much publicized rant at Saturday Night Live. Consequence revealed that he was actually in the room during the infamous outburst.

"What's funny is, you hear him talking to me," Consequence said. "When he's saying, 'Yo, let’s get it,’ it’s me and him talking. That’s super bogus! I haven’t been around long enough to be a yes-man or a no-man. I’m just a man, and I’m going to call it 100. If you're an A-list artist and you're set to perform and you have an elaborate backdrop, décor set up and then five minutes before you go on, they put a mic stand and just be like, 'Yo, alright now have it look like Def Poetry,' what would you do?"

Consequence also contested the notion that the G.O.O.D. Music boss was having a meltdown as many people described it.

"That wasn’t a meltdown," Consequence said. "I don't think that's a meltdown because he still [performed]. A meltdown would have been, ‘I’m leaving. I’m irrational. You can’t talk to me. You can’t talk to management. I’m not listening to anybody."

Angela Yee asked Consequence about the reports that Kim Kardashian had to calm Kanye down as he threaten to leave. Cons said 'Ye was completely justified in his reaction.

"He did threaten to leave and rightfully so," Consequence responded. "He wasn't in the wrong for threatening to leave cause, like I said, if you switch up his set five minutes beforehand and then you go ahead, once he threatens to leave, you put it up and say, 'Give us five or ten minutes to do it,' then who is in the wrong really?"
