The skits are legendary and unforgettable. Who can ever forget Farley as Matt Foley, the motivational speaker for Adam Samberg, or Justin TImberlake singing "Dick in the Box"?

The show is a staple in American television culture. Once you hear "Live from New York," you can expect a standout show from a group of talented artists and comedians. For four decades, Saturday Night Live has received numerous awards, including 64 Primetime Emmy Awards, two Peabody Awards and three Writers Guild of America Awards.

For each episode, a guest host and a musical act invade the stage. The first hip-hop act on SNL was MC Hammer, who came in during season 17 in 1991.
