Troy Ave and Joey Badass have been butting heads for a while, but now their conflict is causing ripples far beyond their Brooklyn boundaries.

Last week, the Badmon dropped a new track called "Ready" where he took a jab at the BSB rapper's record sales - “With the 80/20 split do the math, my nigga Kirk Knight just outsold Troy Ave.” Troy Ave dropped a rebuttal diss track, "Bad Ass" last night (Feb. 29) and not only took shots at Joey's star status and appearance but also mentioned deceased Pro Era member Capital Steez. In the third verse of the diss track, Troy raps "Steez burning in Hell, my burner's in my belt / I'm really killing shit, you niggas killing yourself / Fucking weirdos, off the roof, "Steer clear yo!" / This niggas tryna fly, he think he a superhero / Splat man! Fuck you and that man." Steez, one of the founding members of Pro Era, committed suicide back in 2012.

Although Joey himself has yet to directly respond to Troy's new diss, plenty of other members in New York's hip-hop community are speaking up. This social media beef might spill out into the streets as A$AP Mob member A$AP Twelvyy now says he wants to fight Troy. Letting off a series of tweets directed at the Brooklyn rapper, Twelvyy disses Troy, BSB's president Hovain, and defends all the so-called "weirdos."

It doesn't look like this beef between these two former XXL Freshmen will get squashed anytime soon.
