The saga of Slime Season 3 continues. After shelving the mixtape for I'm Up earlier this month, Young Thug seems to be discontent with the idea of continuing the series, posting a tweet Monday night (Feb. 15) asking his fans for a better title.

"Ss3 ain't drippin until my fans give me a better name for it!!! Hurry..." the rapper wrote. The change of heart came on the same day that Thugger shared the Slime Season 3 cover art via Instagram, and promised that on Tuesday (today) "every blog goin freeze up." With such little time before the supposed drop of Thug's now untitled mixtape, it's unlikely that a new title will change the contents of the project, but with Young Thug, the irregular is always possible.

What's more, the second scrapping of Slime Season 3 might suggest that Thug has decided to dead the idea entirely. While I'm Up simply replaced the release, that Thug is unhappy with the title this late in the game may point to Slime Season 2 being the last in the series.

In December, it was reported that Thug was sitting on 10 unreleased projects, SS3 among them. Whether he will slap the SS3 title to a new collection of songs is presently unknown, but whatever batch of new music Young Thug was planning on releasing will now no longer be known as such.

Check out Thug's plea for a new name below and be on the look out for new music purportedly dropping today.
