Tension in the Young Money camp boiled up two years ago as Tyga went after Drake in interviews and on social media. Everything seems to be good now as Tyga puts the blame on miscommunication and the media when it comes to their past beef.

In a new interview with 106 KMEL's Shay Diddy, the rapper goes into detail on the situation. "It was never really no problem," Tyga explained. "What it was, [it] was miscommunication. It was media. You know what I'm saying? And once you get into the petty game, it's like alright let's just be petty all day. But you know, it was more like media and stuff. We never really had a problem or nothing like that."

"And then I think over time, people grow apart. You don't know what the other side is feeling. You don't know what he talking about. You don't know what she talking about. So, you just lose that communication with somebody."

Tyga told Shay Diddy that Kanye West helped the two clear the air and rebuild the bond.

"We had just linked up," the "Faded" rhymer said. "Ye put us in a room when he had his fashion show. I think it was Yeezy Season 2. And we just chopped it up for a long time about a lot of stuff."

The California native also spoke about his admiration for Kanye and Lil Wayne. He expressed how important it is for him to study them both when he gets the chance to witness them work in the studio.

"They're professors of the game," Tyga said. "They're gods of the game, so you gotta kind of sit back and like... 'Ok, this is how he does this.' And I've always wrote my lyrics, so being in the studio with Wayne was like... He never writes lyrics. He'll sit there for 10 minutes quiet and go in there and rap the whole verse. And I'm just thinking, 'How does he do that shit?' My memory's good, but my memory's not crazy like that."
