Trae Tha Truth is an institution in Houston. A nod in a new artist's direction can make or validate their career; his presence on a track guarantees it rotation among many of the city's residents. So his new album, Tha Truth Part Two, is bound to make more than a bit of noise below the Mason-Dixon; it deserves to be a talking point nationwide.

Tha Truth Part Two is available to stream in full on Trae's Soundcloud above, and comes just half a year after his last full-length effort. It features Lil Duval, Quentin Miller, Jay’ton, Young Thug, Yo Gotti, Ty Dolla $ign, Rick Ross, T.I., Audio Push, B.o.B., Ink, D Lylez, Wiz Khalifa, Roscoe Dash, Watch The Duck, J Dawg and Liz Rodrigues.

In a recent interview with XXL, Trae made it clear that the quick turnaround is just a harbinger of things to come. "Tha Truth Part 2 in February, followed by another album after that," he said. "You know I have my cartoon on Fuse right now, it’s part of a show called Explicit Language. Hopefully, it’ll land a deal with Cartoon Network. Of course, I’m getting ready to shoot my own film when I can finally take a break and just more work. I’m trying to do little bit of everything and just keep the work coming." He also spoke at length about how fans and the press treat albums and mixtapes differently. Be on the lookout for his next LP, which is sure to be just as vital.
