Top Dawg Entertainment CEO and founder Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith has been answering the questions of fans on Twitter today (Feb. 24). As you might expect, many of the questions are about the TDE release schedule for 2016.

Among those questions was a simple inquiry of whether or not Schoolboy Q's new album would arrive before or after the summer. Tiffith let the Twitter user know that Q's album would drop before the summer.

The TDE brass has not been subtle when insinuating that 2016 would be a big year for the roster. Last year, all the attention fell on Kendrick Lamar and his critically acclaimed To Pimp A Butterfly. Later on in the year, Jay Rock released his second studio album 90059. But the rest of the TDE lineup remained quiet. According to the TDE higher-ups, that will change.

"A lot of artists didn’t come out in 2015,” TDE President Dave Free told MTV in January. “By the time we come back around on this next go? Oh my goodness. It’s gonna be crazy. We’re gonna have everybody hittin’. That’s what’s gonna be sick. That’s what’s gonna be fun. That’s what I’m excited about.”

While Schoolboy Q's album might be dropping before the summer, not much is known about the LP. The album is still untitled and no single has been released just yet. Q has been in the studio with Swizz Beatz though, and the Los Angeles rapper also teased a new single called "Groovy Tony" along with a music video for the track earlier this year. If the album is just months away, expect to hear much more from Schoolboy Q in the coming weeks.
