Just a little over a month since releasing the Martin Luther Key mixtape, Key! is back with a new project for his fans in the form of Keyonce. The Atlanta rapper's latest work includes four original tracks with production handled by the likes of Sonny Digital, Deko, Spiffy and G Nealz.

While the EP title and cover artwork would make you think that this project is inspired by Beyoncé, there's no noticeable influence by the singing star here. It may have guided the subject matter of the project though as Key! mostly raps about his exploits with women on the Keyonce EP.

Ultimately, this EP is meant as something of an appetizer for Key!'s fans who are eagerly waiting his album Screaming Dreams. There's still no word on a release date for that album, but it is expected to be released sometime this year.

For Key!, this project may serve as a welcomed to return to the music as he caught some headlines recently for an apparent issue with Travis Scott. Last week, Key! went at Travis Scott on Twitter.

"You not a man of your word blood," Key! wrote to Scott. "But I am. I'm not here for beef. N---as know was poppin. I don't have a tl so I'll have to delete it when you buss at me Travis. Til then."

Apparently the issue was regarding Travis Scott's new song with Wiz Khalifa called "Bake Sale." A tweet from October of 2015 saw Key! telling Travis Scott "that hell yeah song gon cost!" It appears the single's release reignited an issue between the two that was never settled.
