Kanye West's The Life of Pablo finally dropped following his appearance on Saturday Night Live, but Yeezy's star-studded performance almost never happened. According to the New York Post, 'Ye was unhappy with the stage setup and threatened to leave the New York City studio without performing. "Just moments leading into the live show, and during the live show, Kanye had a meltdown and threatened to walk off," a source told the Post.

The outlet's source also claims that Kim Kardashian and SNL creator Lorne Michaels went backstage to calm West down. "It had something to do with the set. Kim, who was in the audience with Kylie Jenner, had to come down. Lorne had to personally talk to Kanye. There were a few really tense minutes."

The report also states that 'Ye has been stressed out over his album release and Yeezy Season 3 fashion line and has been having regular outbursts. "He freaked out about how the set was arranged. He was saying he's 'the greatest artist.' He's having regular meltdowns. Everyone's walking on eggshells around him. He's under a lot of stress between the new album and the fashion line."

The "Ultralight Beam" rapper has been on Twitter more than ever and using the vehicle as a platform to get his thoughts out to the public. On Feb. 14, 'Ye tweeted that he is $53 million in "personal debt" and the rapper took to Twitter once again early this morning (Feb. 16) to address his debt issues and explained how the problems have been used against him in business dealings.

"For the past three years people who knew about the debt tried to use it against me in negotiations," the rapper tweeted. "You can't control me or use the debt against me no more."

Kanye thanked Adidas for believing in him, but also hoped that the company would help him work his way out of debt with a big deal usually reserved for pro athletes. "Perhaps Adidas will do some big LeBron style deal," he said. "Or perhaps a fashion group will cover the 53 that I've invested over the past 13 years."

"Thank you Adidas for supporting my creative vision," he continued. "Adidas has really made all the difference. They provided resources for me to create. They supported me. I thank you so so much. You let me dream without limits."

Finally, Kanye sent a message of inspiration and hopes his new album serves as motivation. "For anybody listening to Pablo now, working on a dream, I hope these words and this moment of truth can serve as some extra motivation to you."
