Future surprised everyone (except maybe DJ Khaled) when he followed the release of his mixtape Purple Reign in January with a new album, EVOL, less than three weeks after. The double-up release only added to the prolific artist's landmark run of new music, but according to Hot 97's Ebro, that run may continue well into the new year.

"Future told me he sittin in 3 albums+ of RnB bangers like them ones from then...Shiiiiiiid," Ebro wrote on Twitter on Monday afternoon (Feb. 22). While the phrase "them ones from then" is vague at best, the radio personality could be referring to past Future tracks like the Rihanna collaboration "Loveeeeeee Song" or his "Neva End" remix with Kelly Rowland. Both songs were released within a four month span of each other covering the end of 2012 and the beginning months of 2013. In the time since, Future's R&B collaborations have been minimal, with only The Weeknd guesting on EVOL's "Low Life."

XXL has reached out to Future's publicist for comment on the Ebro reveal, but what is perhaps most noteworthy is a potential departure from the drug and sex motifs prevalent in Future's post-Ciara music. The two once-engaged musicians have had a public falling out in recent years, with Ciara suing Future for $15 million earlier this month, citing slander and defamation.

Read Ebro's tweet below and be on the look-out as Future is slated to perform on Saturday Night Live on March 5.
