Future has a message for all the people trying to jack his style.

The Atlanta rapper performed last night (Feb. 27) in New York City at the Hammerstein Ballroom, and during his set he issued a warning to the wave snatchers. Right before ringing off into a rendition of his What A Time to be Alive track "I'm the Plug," he addressed the crowd saying, "I'ma let y'all niggas know, it's only one Future in this motherf-cker and I'm really the plug, really."

Some people are speculating that he was taking a shot at G.O.O.D. Music's latest signee, Desiigner. The Brooklyn rapper, who appears on Kanye West's The Life of Pablo, had some people confused because he sounds similar to Hendrix. The rapper even reposted a meme someone created comparing him to the Freebandz head honcho on Instagram.

A number of rappers have been compared to Future in the past, so there are actually several people he could have been hypothetically speaking to. Then again, there is the likely possibility that Future had no one in particular in mind when he said what he said and was generally stating that he is a one of one.

But, not everyone is down with Super Future's wave. Atlanta rapper Father recently tweeted that he wasn't feeling how the "Stick Talk" rapper is over-saturating his sound at such a rapid pace.

Regardless of the side-talk and swagger jacking, Future will surely continue to do him.
