The Future Hive can rejoice. The rapper is releasing a new album this week.

At this point, the story has been worn into the minds of nearly every rap fan: After Future and Ciara, his former fiancee and mother of his son, broke off their engagement, he went on a tear. It began in the fall of 2014 with Monster, and culminated last summer with Dirty Sprite 2, which debuted atop the Billboard charts. The Atlanta rapper parlayed that into a joint album with Drake -- which some believe he has since disowned -- and a spot firmly in rap's A-list.

In January, he surprised observers who thought he might take his foot off the gas by dropping Purple Reign, a free mixtape that came with no advance warning. At the time, Future suggested that he was only warming up for the coming main event. Now, it appears as if that might be upon us.

In a new video making the rounds on social media, DJ Khaled announces that he's premiering Future's new album this Friday (Feb. 5) on his brand-new Apple Music radio show. Called We the Best Radio, it will air every Friday at 8 p.m. EST, to be joined by We the Best TV on alternating weeks.

There are no details available about the Future project or its availability -- whether it will be available for free online or will be serviced to retail stores after it airs -- but stay tuned to XXL for when they become available.
