With Father's Day just four months away, Fetty Wap has changed his tune with regard to the child he is set to have with Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star Masika Kalysha. Exactly one month ago, Fetty and Masika had gone at it on Twitter airing out the particulars of the encounter that led to the pregnancy and adding to their very public dispute over Fetty's paternity and eventual role in the child's life.

But on Thursday evening (Feb. 18), the rapper offered a mea culpa to the mother of his unborn child, writing on Twitter, "@masikakalysha everything may not b okay but I want what's best for the baby so I apologize." Less than an hour later, Kalysha responded, writing, "Thank you... Me and baby appreciate the apology." The heartfelt message is a huge step for Fetty who had allegedly texted Kalysha, “I ain’t comin round helping yu none of that I’m lettin yu no now" just a few months prior.

News of Kalysha's pregnancy was first reported in early December when the reality star posted a selfie to Instagram showing off her growing baby bump, writing, "These past 6 months have been crazy.. But I'd do it all over again just to have you baby... My perfect sweet glory... You're everything I've ever done right." If she was six months into her pregnancy then, then she would be past eight months now, meaning the child should be expected before spring. Perhaps having to face the reality of his newborn child has inspired a newfound perspective in Fetty. His tweet and Kalysha's response are both included below.
