It looks like Drake's love for the mighty Jordan Brand runs deeper than just writing a homage to the Jumpman on his recent collab album with Future, What A Time To Be Alive. The 6 god appears in a new promotion released by Jumpman where he reveals the first pair of Jordans he ever copped and talks about how much the shoe company means to him.

Appearing in front of a white background rocking a Jordan headband, Drake talks about the first pair of Air Jordans he owned being the "UNC" XVs. "I'll never forget it 'cause it was a gift from my father," he says.

He adds, "When me and all my guys are wearing Jordan, you know, we feel like a team. You have that presence when you walk in the room. It doesn't matter what we are doing today we just came to win. It can apply to anything, anyone's life. My life is to go out there and get on that stage [and] act as if I am Mike, act as if it is the Playoffs, act as if there is a championship trophy to be won. When I'm walking through the tunnel I have the same fire in my eyes. Jordan promotes a winning mentality."

Drizzy has officially been team Jordan since 2013 when he inked a deal with the company and unveiled his first collection, the OVO-edition Jordan X’s and XII’s. Since then the rapper has been spotted rocking OVO-edition J's on multiple occasions.
