Curren$y is a new music factory. And being the well-oiled machine that he is, any day can be the day for new music from the NOLA MC. Today we get a fresh track from the high-minded rapper titled "In My City" featuring Jet Life artist T.Y.

The instrumental has a theme from Scarface feel with the Jet Life boss spitting about the ins and outs of New Orleans, including details about the car and cannabis cultures. T.Y. grabs the second verse, following suit with Curren$y's mindset, describing how it goes down on his side of town.

It's unclear whether this track will end up on a project or if it is just a loose banger. But this is definitely not the last we will hear from Curren$y in the near future.

Spitta hasn't wasted any time in 2016. Last December, he put out his most recent album Canal Street Confidential which featured the likes of Future, Lil Wayne, K Camp, August Alsina and Ty Dolla $ign. Last month, he dropped a new EP The Owners Manual. That six-song project was executive produced by Cool and Dre.

Two weeks ago he put out the mixtape project The Carrollton Heist with frequent collaborator Alchemist. Just yesterday, he dropped the video for the song "Mack Book." And we are still waiting on the duet project with Wiz Khalifa 2009 that we were promised last year.
