Azealia Banks can breathe easy after getting involved in a violent altercation last year.

The rapper was in some serious trouble last October for an incident at Los Angeles' Break Room 86, in which she was captured on video assaulting one of the club's security guards.

According to security, Banks was asked to leave due to her unruly behavior, and became a greater risk when she appeared to be tampering with a fire alarm upon her exit. Now, TMZ reports that the L.A. City Attorney has rejected the case due to lack of evidence.

Though the incident was caught on tape, law enforcement sources who have seen the video say that they are unable to identify the aggressor in the scrum, and the bouncer assaulted did not sustain any injuries. It's a bit of good fortune for Banks who is clearly up to something in the footage.

The news that Banks will not face any charges only clears the rapper of one of her security-related run-ins, as a December incident in which Banks allegedly bit a security guard’s breast at a New York club remains pending. The rapper was charged with assault, disorderly conduct and harassment for the altercation, which reportedly began after Banks was stopped from entering a private party, and became upset that, once inside, nobody recognized her. According to NYPD reports, the rapper “became verbally abusive and began to push the victim and bit victim on the breast causing swelling and redness.”

The Broke With Expensive Taste rapper will have to either raise her funds or lower her hostility moving forward, as these incidents are too common to be anomalies. We will update her pending assault charge further once news becomes available.
