It's a case of adding insult to injury for T.I., as TMZ is reporting that the Atlanta rapper is being sued by a local jewelry company for $700,000 the very same week that he laid his late grandfather to rest.

According to TMZ, the Georgian jewelry company Aydin & Co. is suing T.I. for unpaid debts on jewelry that they sold him throughout the past decade. As the lawsuit details, the company delivered an 18.5 karat white gold bracelet, a ring and yellow gold rosary to the rapper in 2014 for which T.I. paid $20,000. According to Aydin though, the pieces totaled at $64,000, leaving $44,000 still owed.

What's more, the company has detailed further debts in their lawsuit, suing for a total larger than $700,000. According to TMZ, T.I. has called the lawsuit bogus.

T.I. is not the first rapper to have financial disagreements with jewelers and he likely won't be the last either. In March of 2015, DJ Khaled was sued by a New York jeweler to the tune of $100,000 for pieces that were given to him on a trial basis. And before then, Gucci Mane had lost a lawsuit in May of 2012 over unpaid diamonds for which he was ordered to fork over $270,000. Similar to Khaled's suit, Gucci was leant the diamonds for which he would either pay or return them and did neither. That jeweler, A&A Diamonds, was also based in Georgia.
