Adult Swim and Mass Appeal Records have teamed up to release a soundtrack for the documentary Rubble Kings. And as a special treat for all the listeners, it is available to you as a free download!

The project is produced entirely by Little Shalimar as he crafts music inspired by the Rubble Kings documentary. The 2015 film, which was directed Shan Nicholson, depicts the gang violence that was taking place in The Bronx during the 1970s. It specifically hones in on the events leading up to and after the historic Hoe Avenue peace meeting that took in December 1971.

With the resources and connections of two entities like Adult Swim and Mass Appeal, it's no surprise that the Rubble Kings soundtrack has a stacked lineup of artists contributing to the project. Ghostface Killah, Bun B, Run The Jewels, Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire, Ka and Boldy James are among the notable names who appear on the project.

The entire project features 13 tracks, many of which are intrumentals with vocal samples employed. But when the raps come through, they deliver. Some of the tracks are intense like "Savage Habits" by Bun B, Killer Mike and Cuz Lightyear or the frenetic Run The Jewels cut "Rubble Kings Theme (Dynamite)." Others are more subdued like "Delany Card," which features the smooth delivery of the underrated Ka.

You stream the Rubble Kings soundtrack in its entirety below and download it via Audiomack if you're digging the sounds.
