LAPD don't believe Sean Kingston's kidnapping story. Authorities ended its investigation regarding Kingston's claim that he was kidnapped in a jewelry dispute. TMZ reports that the Los Angeles police department is labeling the incident as a simple business disagreement because the story is so unclear.

The Jamaican-American singer claimed he arranged a meeting with the jeweler at 1:50 a.m. in a downtown L.A parking lot to end a dispute over a $225,000 watch. Kingston was making payments on the time piece but stopped at $185,000 and refused to pay out the rest because he feels the watch isn’t worth the asking price. Kingston told police he agreed to meet with the jeweler and exchange the watch for one that is priced at $185K. However, during the meeting things went south. SK said the jeweler and his goons took the watch, locked him in a car at gunpoint and drove off, eventually dumping him in the street. Later on, Sean Kingston voiced his disdain on twitter.

“Never trust Avianne jewelers… Period.. Shady business.. GOD never misses anything so we will leave this in his hands but just know KARMA!” Followed by, “Love all the fans.. I’m ok and safe 😬 just hurt to work so hard for something and have someone thinking they can’t just take it from you smh.”
