Nike continues to treat sneakerheads to good news in 2016 and in the latest announcement from the Swoosh, the brand is gearing up to release a brand new Air One Foamposite iteration with the drop of the University Blue colorway.

Set to drop at the beginning of February, the Nike University Blue Foamposite esembles the coveted Royal iteration that originally released in 1997. Dressed in a light blue shade, this upcoming Foamposite features hits of black on the upper, tongue, heel and midsole of the shoe. Hits of white are complimented on the Swoosh’s branding while the signature 1 Cent logo is placed on the tongue and outsole which sits atop of a translucent outsole. With buzz already surrounding this shoe, the Nike Foamposite University Blue should be a hit among sneakerheads.

Although sneakerheads are more than likely anticipating another Air Foamposite Royal release, this University Blue iteration should hold down sneakerheads for now, until the rerelease of the coveted colorway. With a release date set for Friday, Feb. 5, the Nike Air Foamposite One University Blue will be available at select Nike retailers nationwide and at Nike.com. Look for the shoes to retail for a suggested price of $230.
