Comparatively speaking, Mike Will Made-It had a slow 2015 when stacked up against his super-producer status worthy 2013 and 2014. He is already looking to kick it up a notch this year as it looks like he will start off 2016 with a new project.

The ATL beat maker recently took to Instagram to show off some pictures of a recent studio session. He makes it clear he is working on the follow up to his 2014 mixtape Ransom. "Mixing & Mastering #Ransom2 1/3/2016," he wrote under one of the photos.

He later teased fans by posting under another photo, "#Ransom2 1/??/2016," and then asking who fans would like to hear on the project and if he should make it an album or a mixtape.

The first Ransom mixtape came out in December 2014. The project had a slew of features including big names like Nicki Minaj, Juicy J, Lil Wayne, Big Sean, Chief Keef, Future, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, DeJ Loaf, Young Thug, Rae Sremmurd and Migos, as well as up-and-coming artists like Key!, Yung Joey, Eearz and Bankroll Fresh.

Fans are also patiently waiting on the previously teased Ape Shit mixtape with Future. After initially announcing the project over a year ago, and even revealing a cover art, nothing has come of the anticipated mixtape that should add to Future's recent run of fire free material.
