The Los Angeles Lakers are 8-27, well on their way to retaining their top-three protected pick in June's draft. But three of those eight wins have come in their last three games, a winning streak they hope to continue at home against Golden State tomorrow (Jan. 5). And though that might seem like an insurmountable task against the 31-2 Warriors, Lakers guard Nick Young cites the team's secret weapon: Kanye West.

The rapper's latest song, the Metro Boomin- and Southside-produced "Facts," spends most of its time taking aim at Nike; West recently left the sportswear giant for Adidas, which has furnished his last two clothing collections and his Yeezy shoes. He also references Young alongside Houston Rockets guard James Harden.

After the Lakers' victory over the Phoenix Suns, Young--who has recently taken to wearing Yeezy Boost 750s during games--was asked how the team planned to prepare for the Warriors. His answer? "Yeezus."

Young is engaged to the Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, whose 2014 debut The New Classic spawned a series of hits, most notably the Charli XCX-featuring "Fancy."

An enterprising soul on Soundcloud has taken the initiative to loop one of Kanye's lines from "Facts" for nearly an hour. Listen below:
