Gucci Mane is apparently getting out of jail. After much speculation, 1017 Records, the rapper's label, has declared that he will be released from prison in March.

The label made the announcement on Instagram and XXL has reached out to Gucci Mane's camp to see if the jail release news is true. Gucci Mane has been incarcerated since 2013. Last month, the Atlanta rapper said that he would "get out sooner than later."

Over the past 24 hours, Gucci Mane's Twitter and Instagram accounts have been deleted. This led to questions about Gucci's status and who was handling Gucci's social media. But with the announcement of Gucci's impending release, things became much clearer. Sean Paine, Gucci Mane's right-hand man, told Pigeons and Planes that Gucci did this because he "wants to wait until he gets out to build anticipation and resurface everything under the new Gucci brand."

Despite being behind bars, Gucci Mane has managed to release albums and mixtapes at a torrid pace. His latest release was the Christmas-themed mixtape East Atlanta Santa 2. The project featured guest appearances by Post Malone, Riff Raff, Waka Flocka Flame, Lil B, OJ Da Juiceman, Sy Ari Da Kid, 21 Savage and Vic Mensa among others. But now, it looks like fans will soon hear some brand new material from Gucci as opposed to recordings from the vaults.
