French Montana's days of freestyling on Smack DVD seem like a lifetime ago as he is set to star in the upcoming feature film The Perfect Match. French is set to appear alongside Cassie, Terrence Jenkins (Entourage), Kali Hawk (The Game) and Joe Pantoliano (The Sopranos) in the romantic comedy. The Hollywood Reporter says that the film is directed by Bille Woodruff and produced by Jenkins and Queen Latifah's Flavor Unit Entertainment.

IMDB has a brief summary of the movie that reads as follows:

Terrence J. stars as Charlie, a playboy who's convinced that relationships are dead. His two best friends, Donald Faison and Robert C. Riley, bet him that if he sticks to one woman for one month, he's bound to get attached. Charlie denies this until he crosses paths with the beautiful and mysterious Eva, played by singer/actress Cassie. They may agree to a casual affair, but eventually Charlie is questioning whether he may actually want more.

According to Woodruff's Instagram pageThe Perfect Match will hit theaters on March 11.

This will be the Coke Boy's first appearance on the big screen in a featured role. In the past few years, Montana has made appearances on television shows like Wild 'N OutKeeping Up with the KardashiansKourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons and MTV's Ridiculousness.

While Montana embarks on a new chapter in his career, fans of his music are still waiting for an update on his sophomore LP Mac & Cheese: The Album. The project has suffered numerous setbacks and does not have a release date at the moment. The only sign of life from the album is the current single "Moses" featuring Chris Brown and Migos.
