Curren$y dropped his Canal Street Confidential album in Dec., but instead of taking a victory lap, Spitta got right back to work and gives us a new project to feast on. Executive produced by Cool & DreThe Owners Manual features Curren$y in his element as he raps about his love of cars, girls and weed over smooth beats. The six-track EP has no guest appearances and features only Cool & Dre on the boards. Spitta always shines when working with just one producer (in this case, production team) and The Owners Manual is no exception.

The Owners Manual is just a warmup for Spitta as he also has a new project with Alchemist on the way. Curren$y announced The Carrollton Heist via his Twitter account on Jan. 13 and the project's producer confirmed with a tweet of his own that read simply "The Carrollton Heist." The title is a reference to Carollton Avenue in Spitta's hometown of New Orleans. There is no release date for the project at the time and based on Curren$y's spontaneity, it could come at any time.

This isn't the first time the duo have teamed up for musical crack. Back in 2011, the rapper and producer dropped Covert Coup. The ten-track effort featured the likes of Prodigy, Freddie Gibbs, Smoke DZA and more. The chemistry between the two was undeniable and fans have been waiting for the past five years for them to work together again.

While we wait for The Carrollton Heist, check out The Owners Manual below:
