Young Thug May Have a New Project With Fetty Wap

Two of the hottest young MCs in hip-hop out right now may have a collaborative project coming out. Young Thug went on Twitter to share news that a project with Fetty Wap could be dropping in the near feature. The rapper posted a hand-drawn picture with the caption "ThuggaXWapp STAY READY.... VERY SOON." Last month Thug took to Instagram to hint at a possible project between the him and Fetty. "#Fettythuggin Boomin soon!" was the caption for the picture. The Instagram post was later taken down. Both artists are signed to Lyor Cohen's 300 label.

Don't hold your breath for the collaborative project though. Fans are still waiting for Migo Thuggin, which Migos and Thug announced back in October, and Metro Thuggin, a project between Thug and producer Metro Boomin. They released “Hercules” off the project last month. Metro and Young Thug got into a brief misunderstanding last month and traded shots at each other on Twitter. The beef has since been squashed.

Fetty has been on a roll. He released a new surprise EP on Tuesday (Dec. 1). Since rising to prominence with his hit “Trap Queen,” the New Jersey native has released a wave of new music. His self-titled album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart in October. Thugga dropped his second installment in the Slime Season series, Slime Season 2 in November.
