The honors keep on stacking up for Wiz Khalifa. After Wiz Khalifa was named one of the most talked about entertainers of 2015 by Facebook, the Taylor Gang rapper has been announced as a nominee for the 2016 Golden Globe Awards.

Wiz Khalifa's hit single "See You Again" featuring Charlie Puth, which appears on the Furious 7 soundtrack, is nominated for Best Original Song. Wiz's track is up against songs from the films 50 Shades of Grey, Love and Mercy, Youth and Spectre.

The 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards will air live on Jan. 10 on NBC. It will be hosted by Ricky Gervais, who is handling hosting duties for the fourth time

The incredible success of "See You Again" has made 2015 a banner year Wiz Khalifa despite the Pittsburgh native not releasing a new album or mixtape so far. "See You Again" topped the Billboard charts for 12 straight weeks and its music video became the first hip-hop video to ever reach 1 billion views on YouTube.

While Wiz Khalifa could be content with a productive 2015 as is, the rapper has decided to release a new project before the year is over. Wiz recently announced that he would drop Cabin Fever 3, though no release date has been set. The new mixtape will feature guest appearance by Curren$y, Kevin Gates, Juicy J, Yo Gotti, K Camp, King Los and Problem. Production will be handled by Sonny Digital, Tm88, Easy Mo Bee, Ricky P and DP Beats.
